This summit operates under "Traffic Light Protocol Red" - the highest level of confidentiality. Everything discussed in this meeting stays in the room where it's discussed. No exceptions.

What We'll Be Discussing

Frank conversations about:

  • The real financial situation of your campus store
  • Staffing levels, changes, and expertise needs
  • Operational challenges and solutions
  • Strategic decisions your institution is requiring

Who Can Attend

This meeting is designed for management-level staff who can speak candidly about their store's operations and strategic decisions.

If you are the primary CSC member: You can attend yourself or designate someone else from your team.

If you are designating someone else: You are personally responsible for ensuring they understand and will follow these rules. The CSC Board reserves the right to exclude any designee if they believe that person cannot contribute meaningfully to the conversation.

The Rules

In-Person: "What's said in the room stays in the room. No recording of any kind. No sharing notes or information afterward."

Virtual: You must be alone, camera on, microphone available and tested prior to the meeting starting, no recording, no sharing information afterward.

Consequences

Breaking confidentiality may result in immediate membership termination with no appeals or refunds.

Step 2 of 4 - Virtual Attendance Protocol

Virtual Attendance Protocol

CRITICAL: Virtual attendance requires strict compliance with the following rules. Failure to follow these rules will result in immediate removal from the meeting and potential membership termination.

Mandatory Virtual Attendance Requirements

1. Solo Environment - You Must Be Completely Alone:

  • You must be in a private room with a locked door
  • No other person may be present in the room at any time
  • No one may overhear or view any part of the meeting

2. Camera On - Visual Verification Required:

  • Your camera must be on and facing you for the entire meeting
  • You must be clearly visible at all times
  • No virtual backgrounds

3. Microphone Available - Audio Verification Required:

  • Your microphone must be available and tested prior to the meeting starting
  • We need to verify your audio is working properly
  • Follow host instructions regarding muting during the meeting

4. Immediate Drop-Out Rule - Zero Tolerance:

  • If anyone enters your room for any reason, you must IMMEDIATELY DROP OUT of the call
  • Do NOT mute - you must LEAVE THE MEETING entirely
  • You may not return until the intruder has left and your space is secure
  • Examples: delivery person, family member, pet, cleaning staff, maintenance - ANYONE

5. No Recording:

  • Absolutely no audio or video recording of any kind
  • No screenshots or screen recording
  • Notes must be personal, accounted for, and disposed of appropriately if they contain sensitive materials
  • Close all other applications except the video conference

Consequences

Violation of any virtual protocol rule may result in:

  • Immediate removal from the current meeting
  • Possible termination of CSC membership
  • No refunds or appeals

Employment Contract Review

If you or your designee are covered by a collective bargaining agreement, you must review your contract to ensure there are no provisions that would require you to disclose information from this meeting.

By registering, you assume full responsibility for any conflicts between this confidentiality agreement and your employment contract.

3. Appropriate Level:

I certify that my alternate(s) are of appropriate management level to meaningfully contribute to strategic discussions about campus store operations, finances, and challenges.

4. Independent Participation:

I certify that my alternate(s) can share information and participate in discussions independently, without needing to clear things with me or their collective bargaining agreement.

5. Board Discretion:

I understand and accept that the CSC Board reserves the right to exclude my alternate(s) if they determine that person cannot meaningfully contribute to the conversation.

6. No Refunds or Appeals:

I understand that if my alternate(s) are excluded for any reason, or if any of us breach confidentiality, there will be no refunds and no appeals process.
